Most of the people are friendly but my god is that place full of toxic people. You get to meet lots of people, last time I checked Barona employs over 2,000+ people. Starting off with the pros, the benefits are amazing, definitely the one thing I miss about that place. I'm just not happy working here anymore. It is a great way to catch up on fills and even save money from time to time.īUT.even with such benefits I have started getting the feeling of dread because the shifts are long and the whole week seems like a very long tunnel with no end in sight. I have actually told them on occasion that I hate the job and I try to look at the big picture of the benefits that Barona offers such as big tips (An average right now is $360) the week after you get your normal paycheck. The team I work with has some great management and they really take care of me and make sure that I am enjoying it. The job of cashier (the main cage and in the booths) is not that difficult to grasp, it is all repetition and getting used to handling money and getting exact counts for players.
In my case, I am not much of a social butterfly. It is heavily social and if you want to get ahead with peers then you have to be a social butterfly. If you are not much of a people person then this place is not for you. But, it is not enough for me to enjoy coming to work, I actually dread it now.
I currently work here and the benefits are okay.
